Basement Project 2007

The basement is getting done and we are so excited and thankful. I'll recap what has been completed to date: all framing, plumbing lines, most of the electrical, and the drywall has been hung on the ceiling and some of the walls. Hopefully the drywall guys will be back today to get more done. Over the weekend Steve and I along with some friends picked out the carpets and vinyl floor for the bathroom. I know you all want to know what color is the carpet...well I will just say green, but not a mint green nor it is a forest green. The solid color is more of moss green and the other carpet is multi-colored in the coordinating greens. The bathroom floor has a marble affect going on with a green going through it. Once you see it, it will all make sense. Steve's friend, Jerry, will help him lay the carpet and bathroom floor. Now we need to find some paint. That shouldn't be too hard. Last night Steve ordered the movie screen for the media room and it should be here today. There are a few movie clips of the basement in our photo album labeled 'basement project 2007'. Enjoy!
